The agreement we share.

You may use TrueGYDE if you are at least 13 years old. Users under 18 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent in line with §9 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Institutions and employers represent that the signatory has authority to bind the organisation.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

TrueGYDE is a career discovery platform offering assessment, archetype outcomes, personalised roadmaps, tasks, reflections, parent and institution workspaces, and employer discovery tools. We may add, modify or discontinue features at our discretion.

TrueGYDE outputs are guidance, not professional advice. Career, educational and life decisions remain yours and (where applicable) your guardian's.

You agree NOT to:

• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringing content;
• attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the platform;
• use TrueGYDE to harvest data on minors;
• circumvent rate limits, paywalls, or access controls;
• use TrueGYDE in violation of Indian law or the Information Technology Act, 2000.

You own the reflections, evidence, and work product you upload. By submitting content you grant TrueGYDE a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, display and process it solely to operate and improve the service for you. We process this content in line with our Privacy Policy.

Where a parent or guardian is linked to a learner account, the linked adult may see the learner's progress and shared evidence. Sharing can be revoked by either party at any time from Settings → Sharing.

Institutions and employers using TrueGYDE warrant that they will (a) use learner data only for the agreed educational or hiring purpose, (b) honour the learner's consent and visibility preferences, and (c) not use TrueGYDE outputs as the sole basis for admission, hiring or rejection decisions.

Core student features are free. Paid plans, if purchased, are described at the point of sale and may renew automatically until cancelled. Taxes apply as per Indian law. Refunds are governed by the refund policy displayed at checkout.

The TrueGYDE name, logo, archetypes, assessments, designs, code and content are owned by TrueGYDE Technologies and protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the platform for personal or contracted use only.

TrueGYDE may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g. Google sign-in, payment gateways). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for their conduct.

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueGYDE's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 5,000, whichever is higher. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages.

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, fraud, or to comply with law. On termination, the licences you grant survive only to the extent needed for back-ups and legal compliance.

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days, as required by Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection law, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 7 days in advance by email and in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
